MDO (Machine Direction Orientation) can enhance many film properties such as tensile strength, elongation, stiffness, optics (haze and gloss), water and oxygen vapor transmission rate and grease permeability. MDO also offers cost savings by either down gauging film thickness or increasing the production rates of existing extrusion lines.
