Many consider extruders a commodity item. By adding versatility, attention to detail and choosing only the best components Addex has developed an extruder that is everything but a commodity item. The extruder base allows both the smooth bore or grooved feed section version to be installed, which allows the customer to change from one to the other down the road as circumstances change.

For the ever growing number of layers in coextrusion Addex developed the  SLIMLINE series (depicted in the picture is a 70 mm, 30 L/D smoothbore extruder), which introduces the gearless torque motor that reduces the extruder’s footprint by 10% and the energy consumption by 5%.

The sizes are:

• 50 mm (2”),
• 60 mm (2.4”),
• 70 mm (2.75”),
• 90 mm (3.54”) and
• 120 mm (4.72”).

All sizes 30 or 25 L/D long.
